Following my old Team in Training schedule, today is a rest day.. no running. In order to keep on my path to try to reach my miles in 2012 goal, I did 3 miles with the Leslie Sandsone DVD with 2 lb weights. It is my "go to" workout on days that it is raining or just too hot. However, I am kind of feeling so over this DVD. I could practically recite every word that comes out of Leslie's mouth. I need to make a run to the library and check out a different DVD for a couple of weeks to shake it up!

Last week was a pretty good week for me. I did 18 miles. Right now for the year I am at 452 miles for the year. I am hoping to get to 500 miles before the end of this month. That means I need to do around 3.60 miles a day average. I decided yesterday to break out my old Team in Training schedules from 3 years ago. I will start out slow, but work up to long runs one day a week. Not sure if I will be doing the Half in October or not, but I do want to pick up some 5Ks.
